This 5 bedroom/3 bath features 2 master suites, 2 kitchens, spacious living room area, hot tub in the back yard, oversized 2 car garage for today's cars, and extra family room to spread a group out. The property is centrally located directly between Kings Beach and Tahoe City is 1.5 miles from Watermans Landing (dog friendly beach). In the summer, there is a very small beach across the road/highway for guests to access. This is better suited to give a dog a swim or for shorter visits because there is not a lot of room for beach chairs, etc..

For larger groups, including weddings and family reunions, this home is about a half mile from the Idlewood Vacation Cabin.

All Agate Bay Realty vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with cable/YouTube TV service, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Great stay for large family group

We had a wonderful time with a large family group and wide range of ages- the hot tub, foosball, and Pac-Man were all big hits! We had two dogs and the fences back area was a huge help. Kitchen was roomy and well-stocked with basics. Lots of rooms and beds for multiple sleeping options for a large group. Separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom/bathroom above the garage were great to have added space and lots of room for a large group to spread out. A short drive to Kings Beach, Incline Village, and Tahoe City. Our only complaint was that unfortunately internet and cable were down for the majority of our stay, but we appreciated the communication from Agate Bay Realty and the discount applied at checkout due to the issue. We look forward to staying here again!

Great and enjoyable time !!

The lazy bear is just what we needed for our stay in carnelian bay ! We went up with family and enjoyed the massive space . We really enjoyed the hot tub and the whole back area of the place when it was snowing . All in all it was a great place to stay at !

Great stay for our group

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear! It was clean and had room for our entire group. Lots of rooms and beds to choose from. Everyone had their own quiet space to retreat to. Two laundry rooms for easy washing. Kids enjoyed the game room. Hot tub was a plus. The adults enjoyed the fire (bring your own fire wood). The bonus suite above the garage is a full apartment with a living room, bedroom and kitchen and felt like so much extra space. The extra fridge space came in handy. The beds were all super comfy temprapedic beds with nice pillows. Walk across the street to a path to the lake!
