Nuris is a very kind host. She went out of her way to take care of us, drive us to beaches, and take care of the things in the house that needed fixing.
The house is about 30 minutes north of Punta Cana. It is is a relatively undeveloped neighborhood with a nice beach. It is big and can fit a lot of people comfortably, but we did not find it worth the price. Many small details like doors, windows, and curtains are broken or in bad shape. There was an enormous bee hive that filled the pool and back patio with dead bees each day. The oven did not work, and almost all of the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen are empty. We hired a cook who brought a few things from her own house to compensate. We also had issues with water pressure in the showers and toilets.
It's a great house if you want to be off the beaten path and enjoy quality time with a large group of people.
